Low-yield 1,68 ha. old vine single vineyard called “Malpuesto” or badly placed due to its poor planting. Planted in 1931.

Elaboration:
Alcoholic fermentation in open stainless steel vats. Malolactic fermentation in 500 l. barrels and clay amphore.
Aging:
12 months in small-grain French 500 l. oak barrel (Darnajou and Taransaud).
Tasting notes:
Intense bright cherry colour. Ripe, wild black fruit aromas. Structured and voluptuous, with a silky earthy touch. Extremely fruit-forward, meaty, persistent and complex finish.
